This foundation prepares you for professional paths in museum operations, archaeological research, education, and beyond.

Our program provides direct engagement with art through frequent trips to Detroit's premier cultural institutions - the Detroit Institute of Arts and Kelsey Museum of Archaeology. Students also enjoy an annual excursion to Chicago's renowned Art Institute, along with opportunities for semester-long study abroad programs that offer deep cultural immersion.

Graduates emerge ready for various career paths in museum management, archaeological fieldwork, education, and other fields. The program also provides strong preparation for advanced academic study in art historical research and teaching positions.
