The Master of Public Policy (MPP) program at The Catholic University of America goes beyond political considerations, prioritizing human dignity and societal welfare while preparing students to craft principled, creative policy solutions for pressing global issues. Distinct from other policy programs: Catholic University offers the sole graduate public policy program in the Washington, D.C. region that places human well-being and collective benefit at its core, combining cutting-edge social science with a strong ethical and philosophical foundation.
The Master of Public Policy (MPP) program is a 36-credit-hour degree program.
The curriculum is built around an innovative competency structure whereby students build their public policy competency in three key areas over the duration of the program. The competencies are:
