The Ph.D. program in Semitic and Egyptian Languages and Literatures offers an advanced and comprehensive study of ancient Near Eastern languages and literatures. The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Semitic and Egyptian Languages and Literatures requires 30 hours beyond the M.A., and the M.A. is 30 hours.

- An approved M.A. from another institution (this transfers up to 24 cr, with the remaining 6 or more cr to be taken here at Catholic University in addition to the courses listed below)
