History majors follow their passion for exploring the past, while honing invaluable transferable skills in research, analysis, presentation, and writing. The major leads to a wide range of career possibilities.
The BA in History requires 11 courses or 33 credit hours in the major, as part of a total curriculum of 120 credit hours.

International students applying to Catholic University must have successfully completed a university preparatory course of study at a secondary school (a minimum of 12 years of primary and secondary school training comprising the equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma). Upon receipt of your completed application and required admission materials, your credentials are reviewed by members of the admission staff.
International students are eligible for Catholic University merit scholarships. Catholic University awards up to $33,000 per year per student.
