The Major in Global Studies is an Interdisciplinary pre-professional career-oriented program designed for students preparing for careers in government, private agencies, or business. The Global Studies major will meet the demands of students who wish to obtain language skills that will serve them well in the workplace, to gain cultural competence in one or more regions of the world, and to acquire the expertise to address one or more global issues through the lens of Catholic social teaching.
Students earning a bachelor’s typically complete a total 120 credit-hour curriculum required to graduate. Some degree programs can require additional credits.

International students applying to Catholic University must have successfully completed a university preparatory course of study at a secondary school (a minimum of 12 years of primary and secondary school training comprising the equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma). Upon receipt of your completed application and required admission materials, your credentials are reviewed by members of the admission staff.
International students are eligible for Catholic University merit scholarships. Catholic University awards up to $33,000 per year per student.
