The Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) program provides one graduate degree (Master of Arts in Instructional Design and Technology) along with two certification options (Educational Technology and e-Learning). The MA in IDT consists of 30 credit hours, while the certificates require either 21 credit hours (Educational Technology) or 12 credit hours (e-Learning).
This practical, learner-focused Instructional Technology program allows master's students to specialize in either research or development through elective courses. While rigorous, the ETEC program remains attainable, with some students finishing in one academic year including summer sessions, though this accelerated pace isn't mandatory.
