Certificates can be obtained by both regularly enrolled and extended learning students, recognizing the successful completion of a structured curriculum aimed to:
develop specific professional, vocational, or career skills, or
achieve comprehensive knowledge in a specialized area of an academic discipline, or
offer an overview of materials within a conventional or new interdisciplinary domain.
Some certificate programs include 600-level courses as mandatory or optional components. Undergraduate students are ineligible to enroll in these advanced courses. Participants must complete at least two-thirds of their certificate-eligible credits at the university. Credit transfers or course substitutions require approval from the relevant campus authority.

Applicants who have studied in the U.S. are required to have the institution(s) directly send their official transcript(s) to International Admissions.
