The Bachelor of Arts program aims to enhance students' ability to maintain a rewarding, lifelong educational journey by fostering a core comprehension of modern computer systems' design and functionality, along with the techniques used to address societal challenges. Computer Systems studies offer an excellent pathway for students to cultivate intellectual abilities that will be prized by current and future employers, opening doors to roles where they can apply their creativity and analytical skills to achieve personally satisfying tasks and make recognized positive societal impacts. The School of Computer Science and Engineering's faculty and staff are dedicated to creating an optimal learning atmosphere for students to gain the advantages of mastering this field. The key feature that sets the BA program apart from the traditional BS program is its stronger focus on practical problem-solving within a specialized area. To achieve this, students enroll in fewer units of theoretical computer science, mathematics, and physics, while increasing their coursework in applied subjects aligned with their selected program track.
