The UAF Computer Art program provides undergraduate studies in 3D animation, digital video, and photography, along with graduate-level courses in 3D animation and digital design. Students can utilize a dedicated computer lab in the Fine Arts Complex and another at the Geophysical Institute. Several undergraduate classes are jointly offered with Journalism and Film departments, creating a diverse blend of students from different disciplines. BFA Computer Art students can specialize in various digital art forms, including installation art, digital illustrations, or 3D animation.
