The Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) is a rigorous 2-year professional program spanning 6 semesters and 64 credit units, designed to cultivate exceptional healthcare practitioners. Our curriculum delivers an outstanding educational experience, equipping future certified athletic trainers with essential cognitive abilities, technical proficiency, and professional values. Students master evidence-based practices across key domains: injury prevention, clinical diagnosis, emergency care, therapeutic interventions, psychosocial approaches, healthcare management, and professional ethics.
The MSAT program employs an immersive case-study approach to sharpen clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Clinical rotations expose students to varied healthcare environments, including secondary schools, community colleges, universities, rehab centers, and medical offices. Graduates become eligible for the BOC Examination upon successful completion of all academic and clinical requirements.
