The Asian and Asian American Studies Program provides an Undergraduate Certificate in Cultural Competence for Professionals, aimed at improving Cal State LA students' understanding and skills when working with Asian or Asian American communities, businesses, and institutions. This 15-unit program consists of two introductory courses and three advanced courses. Students from any academic discipline are welcome to apply.

Will have attained a high school diploma, or its equivalent, by the end of Spring prior to the desired Fall admission term, and

International English Language Testing System (IELTS)- Band 5.5 or higher
