The Center provides two academic options in Medieval and Renaissance Studies: a Minor for undergraduates and a Certificate open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, the Center organizes professional activities including guest lectures and seminars. Students complete 21 credits chosen with guidance from their program advisor, along with four semesters (or equivalent) of foreign language instruction. These 21 credits comprise 9 credits of required courses in History, Literature, and Art History, 9 elective credits from at least two academic departments (which may overlap with core course departments), and 3 credits of independent research.
