Strategic course selection enables students to advance in a minor or certificate program while fulfilling major requirements. Beyond classroom learning, the curriculum includes hands-on experience through a semester-long Practicum.Human Development faculty members are engaged in ongoing research and frequently involve motivated students in their projects. Those planning to attend graduate school can gain valuable experience as research assistants, contributing to studies and potentially presenting results at academic conferences. Such research involvement significantly improves students' chances of admission to graduate programs.
