Our Department is dedicated to delivering a challenging and creative curriculum that emphasizes cultivating problem-solving abilities, analytical reasoning, and effective communication, while maintaining excellence in chemistry and biochemistry education. We provide an ACS-accredited B.S. in Chemistry, a flexible B.A. in Chemistry for interdisciplinary pursuits, an ASBMB-accredited B.S. in Biochemistry, a health-focused B.A. in Biochemistry for pre-med students, and advanced graduate studies culminating in M.S. degrees in both Chemistry and Biochemistry with strong research components.
Have graduated from high school, have earned a Certificate of General Education Development (GED) or have passed the California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE);
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Minimum score (Paper: 500, iBT: 61)
IELTS: Minimum score of 5.5 in each sub-section
Pearson Test of English: Minimum score of 43
