The College of Natural Sciences strives to improve community well-being by fostering progress in education, society, economy, science, and culture through disciplines like biology, chemistry, computer science, geology, health sciences, kinesiology, mathematics, nursing, and physics. Comprising nine academic departments, the college provides undergraduate and graduate degree programs, along with pre-professional tracks for medical, veterinary, nutrition, physical therapy, and dental studies. Graduates are equipped for science and healthcare careers in various sectors, teaching positions, or advanced academic pursuits. The diverse faculty features industry professionals and researchers, including numerous women and minority professors who serve as vital mentors within the university community.
