The Master of Arts in Communication Studies is designed for individuals with a passion and foundational knowledge in advanced communication theory and practice. This program offers comprehensive coverage of the field while enabling students to focus on specific concentrations such as argumentation and persuasion, critical-cultural studies, digital media, health communication, instructional communication, intercultural communication, interpersonal communication, organizational communication, rhetoric, and more. As an advanced degree, the M.A. requires all candidates to complete either comprehensive examinations, a thesis, or a research project.
