The Bachelor of Music program equips students for professional paths in music performance, teaching, or advanced academic pursuits. This curriculum emphasizes specialized training in performance (vocal or instrumental), composition, or teaching methods, while providing comprehensive foundations in music history and theory. Seven specialization tracks are available: accompanying, composition, instrumental, jazz-commercial, keyboard, piano pedagogy, and voice. Alternatively, the Bachelor of Arts in Music presents three concentration options: history and theory, liberal arts, and music education (with sub-specializations in choral, general, and instrumental instruction). The B.A. program aims to develop graduates who: possess expertise in music history, literature, and theory; demonstrate proficiency in performance, improvisation, composition, and analysis; exhibit professional communication skills in writing and speech; collaborate effectively in various performance settings; and integrate global perspectives and contemporary developments into their musical practice.
