The Bachelor of Arts in Music equips students for professional paths in music performance, teaching, or advanced academic pursuits. This program focuses primarily on musical performance (vocal or instrumental) while providing a solid foundation in music theory and history. Students can choose from three specialization tracks: history and theory, liberal arts, or music education. The music education concentration further branches into three focus areas: choral, general, and instrumental. Graduates of this program will: possess comprehensive understanding of music history, literature, and theory; develop practical musicianship through performance, improvisation, composition, and analysis; master professional communication skills in writing and speaking; excel in collaborative musical performances both onstage and behind the scenes; and integrate global viewpoints and contemporary developments into their musical practice.
