Trainees master evidence-based assessment techniques that inform intervention strategies, adopting an ecological systems approach that considers the child, family, school, and community. The curriculum emphasizes scientific problem-solving methods while grounding professional practice in both theory and empirical research across urban, suburban, and rural environments.
