The Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences with a Chemistry concentration helps students achieve subject matter proficiency through CTC-approved coursework. This eliminates the need to take the CSET and simplifies entry into the Single Subject Teaching Credential program for Science. While primarily tailored for aspiring middle and high school science educators, this degree also benefits students pursuing various other science-related career paths.
Have graduated from high school (earning a high school diploma), have earned a Certificate of General Education Development (GED) or have passed the California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE)
English language Score: TOEFL – 61 iBT, or IELTS – 6.0 or with 5.5 Band score in each section, or ELS Language Centers - Level 112, or Pearson's Test of English – 45. Application Deadlines: Fall - July 1 and Spring - November 1.
