The Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences with a Biology concentration fulfills subject matter proficiency requirements via coursework endorsed by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). This pathway eliminates the need for the California Subject Examination for Teachers (CSET) and facilitates a smoother transition into the Single Subject Teaching Credential program for Science. While primarily tailored for aspiring middle and high school science educators, this program also accommodates students pursuing diverse science-related career paths.
