The Educational Leadership for Social Justice (ELSJ) Doctoral Program aims to equip educators and school professionals for top leadership roles. Its core purpose is to empower these individuals to become courageous, socially conscious catalysts for meaningful change. Program graduates will be prepared to address disparities in educational access affecting White students, students of color, and those disadvantaged by gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or disabilities.
Through theoretical frameworks, research methodologies, and practical applications, the program fosters a collaborative environment where students gain profound insights into their roles as educators, administrators, knowledge creators, and policy influencers. Participants cultivate the expertise, competencies, and critical thinking needed to enhance learning outcomes for every student.
