This program meets all prerequisites for the Single Subject Preparation Program in Mathematics, designed for aspiring California mathematics educators. Candidates first earn their BS in mathematics education before entering a one-year postbaccalaureate credential program. Successful graduates become eligible to teach high school mathematics in California and reciprocal states. Additionally, this mathematics education track provides foundational knowledge for advanced studies in mathematics education at the graduate level.
