CSU Bakersfield's Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership equips P-12 and higher education professionals to enhance learning opportunities and promote fair academic success for diverse student populations. The program bridges academic research with real-world educational challenges, fostering leadership growth and regional educational improvements. Its action-oriented research tackles pressing issues in local schools and colleges, developed collaboratively with P-16 partners to drive meaningful institutional change. The program features instruction from CSU Bakersfield professors alongside experienced P-12 and college administrators, preparing graduates for leadership positions in both school districts and community colleges.
An earned Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education with a grade point average in upper division coursework of 3.0 or above; An earned Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education with a grade point average of 3.0 or above;
