The Brown MPH Program strongly focuses on enabling students to actively shape their own learning journey. Those pursuing the Interdisciplinary Concentration collaborate with advisors to craft personalized public health pathways. These students create customized learning plans to acquire the necessary skills for their public health careers. This involves defining their Interdisciplinary focus, whether it's a specific subject area (such as Maternal and Child Health, Gerontology, Behavioral Health, Infectious Diseases, etc.) or a methodological specialization (like advanced public health research techniques, program evaluation, etc.).
