We appreciate your enthusiasm for our Epidemiology Master of Science (MS) program. This graduate program equips students with robust quantitative research skills while offering adaptable curriculum options to explore specialized areas of interest. The 60-credit curriculum generally spans six academic quarters (two years), commencing each autumn with primarily in-person attendance requirements. Students progress through core courses as a cohort, with faculty support to establish valuable connections across departments and public health organizations.
Our MS General Track provides comprehensive epidemiologic method training for aspiring research professionals, allowing customization through electives and thesis work. Alternatively, the Clinical and Translational Research Methods track prepares clinicians for patient-centered research, covering areas like therapeutic efficacy trials, diagnostic tool development, and illness outcome factor analysis.
