The Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology graduate program provides students with a close-knit, supportive, and cooperative educational setting, leveraging expertise from faculty in life and physical sciences along with clinician-researchers at partner hospitals. This advanced program prepares students for diverse careers in biology and medical sciences, covering areas like molecular pharmacology, cellular biophysics, neural system physiology, and translational research connecting scientific discovery with clinical applications. While GRE scores are mandatory for Graduate School admission, our program evaluates applicants holistically, prioritizing research background, recommendation letters, academic achievements, personal essays, and interview performance over standardized test results.
Graduates of non-U.S. colleges and universities who have completed the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree may apply for admission to the Brown University Graduate School.

Regarding TOEFL, the recommended minimum score for admission consideration is 577 on the paper-based test and 90 on the Internet-based test. For IELTS, the recommended minimum overall band score is 7.
