This program equips students for professional roles blending economics and computer technology, as well as academic research careers focusing on the intersection of these fields. Students can opt for either the A.B. or Sc.B. degree track. The A.B. degree provides flexibility to study both disciplines through upper-level courses while maintaining the breadth of a liberal arts education. The Sc.B. degree offers more intensive study in both computer science and economics through additional required courses, including a creative integration project. All students must complete coursework in economics, computer science, and applied mathematics, along with fulfilling the Computer Science department's writing requirement through a course emphasizing substantial written analysis.
