Strategic human resource management aims to optimize a company's workforce potential through comprehensive planning, talent cultivation, leadership growth, organizational structure, and performance optimization. Historically, strategic HR served mainly administrative purposes. Modern HR specialists now hold a pivotal position in securing the ideal personnel to enhance business outcomes and fulfill organizational objectives.
BYU's strategic human resources program targets students pursuing leadership positions in HR, organizational consulting, and executive management. The coursework equips students to handle organizational transformations, reinforce company culture and worker satisfaction, and leverage data analysis to refine HR operations. This specialized track develops competencies for addressing business obstacles tied to both corporate and individual achievement.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants must show evidence of a four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the United States of America or equivalent from a recognized international university. International applicants who received a degree from outside the U.S. must submit all official transcripts, diplomas, and marksheets to the International Education Research Foundation for a credential evaluation and request a Detail Report.
GMAT/GRE Score675 avg. GMAT, 20th to 80th percentile (640710), or GRE, 85th percentile on quantitative and verbal sections.
GPA3.55 avg. Additional consideration given to the rigor of your undergraduate program and analytical courses taken. A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required for all applicants.
