Students pursuing public health with a focus in health promotion, recognized across the country as health education specialists, examine biological, behavioral, and societal influences on community wellness.

Those earning a bachelor's in health promotion can work with diverse groups addressing mostly avoidable concerns like obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, mental health challenges, and substance abuse problems. Furthermore, BYU's Health Promotion program prepares students to qualify for national certification as Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) through their curriculum.
