The Post-Baccalaureate program is designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree (in any discipline) and wish to enhance their mathematical expertise for professional applications or to prepare for advanced studies in mathematics, sciences, or social sciences. The curriculum offers flexibility to suit diverse academic backgrounds and objectives. Applicants should possess solid high-school algebra foundations and must have completed a full year of calculus prior to enrollment. The program accepts new students for both fall and spring semesters. Participants take three mathematics courses per semester over two semesters, with two mandatory components: linear algebra (MATH 15a) and multivariable calculus (MATH 20a). The other courses are chosen from various electives in coordination with the Graduate Advising Head. Those who've previously studied linear algebra or multivariable calculus may replace these requirements with additional elective options. Only one cross-listed course can count toward elective requirements.
