The Biochemistry Senior Honors Program enhances the education of Biochemistry majors by providing hands-on research opportunities. This program is tailored for students who have secured a Brandeis faculty member to guide their research, usually starting these projects during their sophomore or junior years.

After graduation, Brandeis biochemistry alumni frequently pursue advanced degrees in biochemistry, medicine, veterinary science, business, law, and related disciplines. Some biochemistry graduates directly enter the workforce (commonly in pharmaceutical or biotech industries), either as a long-term career path or to acquire experience before applying to graduate programs.
