The Adolescence to Young Adult (Secondary) Education program offers licensure specializations in multiple disciplines: Integrated Mathematics, Integrated Social Studies, Integrated Language Arts, Integrated Science, as well as Single Field Science options (Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences-Chemistry, and Physical Sciences-Physics). Additionally, students can pursue Dual Field Science combinations (Physical Sciences-Chemistry and Physics, Earth Sciences and Chemistry, Earth Sciences and Physics, Life Sciences and Chemistry, Life Sciences and Physics, or Life Sciences and Earth Sciences).
Graduates of the Adolescence to Young Adult (Secondary) Education bachelor's program will achieve these learning outcomes:
Master subject knowledge in their chosen specialization area, Develop proficiency in effective teaching methodologies, Utilize human development and learning theories to design, execute, and evaluate instructional materials, Maintain professional ethics and standards when interacting with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
