This academic theater environment serves as the foundational training for future professionals in acting, technical roles, stage management, directing, design, and writing across theater, film, live performances, radio, and television. Participants graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, specializing in design and technical theater. Alongside a comprehensive liberal arts education, theater students engage in three professional development seminars, building toward a final portfolio review and interview during their senior year. This liberal arts approach to design and technical theater fosters essential 21st-century competencies including creative problem-solving, effective communication, and teamwork.
