The Doctor of Physical Therapy program for entry-level professionals is tailored for individuals holding a bachelor's degree who aspire to become licensed physical therapists. Participants gain foundational physical therapy skills, engage in supervised clinical rotations, and cultivate expertise in evidence-based care, teaching, wellness promotion, and administration.
All candidates undertake supervised clinical placements at partner facilities, exposing them to diverse physical therapy specialties and environments. Affiliated institutions span the Boston metropolitan region and various locations nationwide. Clinical site availability for specific rotations depends on the PT program's clinical education directors and individual facility agreements. Participants should anticipate extra expenses for housing and transportation during each clinical rotation.
