This 36-month integrated program in fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics equips candidates with clinical expertise and thorough understanding of diagnosing, treatment planning, restoring, and maintaining oral function, comfort, aesthetics, and health for patients with missing or damaged teeth and orofacial conditions through biocompatible replacements. The program combines classroom learning and hands-on training in complete dentures, removable partial dentures, fixed prosthodontics, implant dentistry, implant surgery, geriatric care, TMJ disorders, and maxillofacial prosthetics, with strong focus on both theoretical foundations and practical skills.
Special attention is given to maintaining periodontal health and collaborating with other dental specialties to ensure comprehensive patient treatment. This collaborative approach is facilitated through interdisciplinary seminars and joint treatment planning sessions.
An essential component involves rigorous, structured reading assignments and literature review seminars that introduce students to core prosthodontic concepts, evidence-based practice, and critical analysis of dental research.
