The Master of Science in Environmental Health (MSEH) program, provided by the Department of Environmental Health Science within the College, equips students for professional roles investigating how workplace and environmental factors affect public health.
Program alumni work in diverse positions such as environmental consultants, industrial hygiene specialists, air quality experts, and risk evaluation professionals. Numerous graduates pursue further education through doctoral studies or medical degrees (Ph.D., M.D.).
To earn the M.S.E.H., students must complete at least 36 credit hours, comprising 23 hours of graduate-level coursework (with a minimum of 50% exclusive to graduate students), 6 hours of Master's-level research, and a thesis approved by the advisory committee (3 hours).
