Boston University provides a combined BS/MPH degree program through a collaboration between Sargent College (College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences) and the School of Public Health. Upon finishing this dual-degree track, graduates receive both a Bachelor of Science in their chosen Sargent College specialization and a Master of Public Health from SPH. This accelerated bachelor's-to-master's pathway generally spans five years when pursued full-time.
The BS/MPH curriculum allows students focused on community health improvement to complement their undergraduate health sciences training with public health coursework. The integrated program structure also accelerates public health training, enabling participants to launch their professional careers or continue advanced studies sooner than traditional degree paths allow.
