The combined Mathematics & Mathematics Education major equips students to earn high school teaching certification. Through coursework in the Mathematics & Statistics Department, students build a strong mathematical foundation while completing requirements for a mathematics degree. This program incorporates all essential Wheelock College of Education & Human Development teaching methods courses and field experience needed for secondary education certification.
Students must meet with advisors from both the CAS Mathematics & Statistics Department and Wheelock's Mathematics Education Department, as course sequencing demands strategic planning.
