This represents the most extensive research focus within our department. The primary goal of this work is to comprehend and control the collective behaviors and emergent properties of many-body systems, examining quantum coherence, entanglement, and topological characteristics.

Study areas encompass topological materials, superconductivity, spin liquids, low-dimensional magnets, disordered systems, twistronics, quantum phase transitions, and non-equilibrium quantum dynamics, among other related subjects.

Transcripts of all previous work Three letters of Recommendation The GRE General Test and Physics Subject Test are recommended but not required Submitting GRE scores may be advantageous in many situations by providing additional information that is not delivered by other application materials Applicants whose first language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL or the International English Language Testing System IELTS exam This requirement is waived for those whose highest degree is from an English speaking country Statement of Purpose Students who speak a native language other than English must provide evidence of English proficiency A score of 100 or higher on the TOEFL iBT test or 7.0 or higher on the IELTS test is required.
