Grounded in classical and Enlightenment-era masterpieces, the curriculum exposes students to key philosophical disciplines such as political theory, religious philosophy, and scientific philosophy.
Prior to starting this concentration, students should consider taking an ethics in philosophy class along with another foundational philosophy course. To fulfill the concentration requirements, students must complete 4 more philosophy electives, including at least one course in non-Western philosophical traditions.
