The Master of Arts in Theatre provides an academic curriculum covering theatre history, dramatic literature, and critical theory. This pre-doctoral program fosters independent research and scholarly writing, equipping students for advanced PhD studies in theatre history, performance studies, critical theory, and related fields. The Theatre Studies MA is a 31-credit program where candidates must successfully present a thesis proposal to advance to their second year.
