The Science Research Fellows program offers a unique interdisciplinary bachelor's degree (BS) designed to equip students with the academic groundwork for thriving research careers across diverse fields including Anthropology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Geology, Geophysics, Neuroscience, Psychology, and Physics. This adaptable major enables students to dive into hands-on research within their preferred scientific discipline early in their academic journey while maintaining the flexibility to investigate other areas of interest. Participants benefit from personalized mentorship and support to achieve their professional aspirations. Fellows students enjoy assured research placements throughout their Baylor education, with a requirement to join a research lab by their sophomore year and maintain involvement for a minimum of two years. The curriculum is particularly well-suited for students aiming to specialize in a specific discipline for PhD studies.
