The Electrical and Computer Engineering pre-major is a nationally recognized program tailored for students passionate about mathematics, science, and technological innovation. Accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), Baylor's program enables ECE students to analyze, design, and construct various devices, fostering a deep understanding of modern technology principles and equipping them to influence future advancements.
Electrical and Computer Engineering represents the largest segment of today's engineering workforce. Baylor alumni have secured positions at leading companies including Dell, Trance, AT&T, Southwestern Bell, Motorola, Shell, HP, and numerous others. Many students also opt to further their engineering education at Baylor or other academic institutions.
Students must have completed high school. English Language Requirements: IELTS score of 6.5, TOEFL score of 80, PTE score of 60, Duolingo English Test score of 110. Application Deadline: February 1st for Fall semester; November 15th for Spring semester.
