A master's program in emerging media design and development (EMDD) propels you into a realm of interdisciplinary, multi-platform work. You'll gain expertise in strategizing, creating, implementing, and evaluating communication designs and narratives across digital mediums. Graduates emerge as skilled professionals ready for sought-after careers in strategic messaging, UX design, transmedia narratives, design innovation, PR, marketing, healthcare, corporate sectors, education, and beyond.
You'll craft interactive multimedia narratives for strategic engagement, collaborate with actual clients to produce impactful content, and utilize cutting-edge technologies to enhance storytelling and design. The program provides flexible study formats including on-campus, hybrid low-residency, and accelerated options. Low-residency participants attend semesterly workshops at the Center for Academic Innovation at Launch Fishers (Indiana), completing remaining coursework digitally. Our distinguished faculty stay ahead of evolving media trends, fostering inventive thinking and entrepreneurial approaches in this dynamic field.
You must have a bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by a regional accrediting association.
You must have earned a minimum of a 2.75 GPA from the undergraduate degree-granting institution.
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
You may begin this program at the start of the Fall Semester.
