Earning an earth/space science teaching degree from Ball State prepares you to guide middle and high school students through the wonders of the natural world. Our program combines rigorous academic coursework in both education and core sciences with hands-on classroom teaching opportunities. Upon graduation, you'll emerge as a skilled educator ready to thrive in diverse educational environments, including public and private schools.
Students should apply as a freshman undergraduate student if:
Students have completed or will complete high school or secondary school before the semester you apply to start
Students have not attended a university, college, or other postsecondary institution
Students wish to earn a bachelor’s degree
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
Dates and Deadlines - International Admissions must receive all your application materials by these dates for consideration for a specific term
Fall Term - application materials due by June 15th
Spring Term - application materials due by November 15th
Priority application date for fall enrollment: March 1; priority application date for spring enrollment: December 1.
