The School of Music enrolls around 350 undergraduate students, nearly 100 graduate students, and boasts a faculty of over 70 professional artist-teachers. Recognized for our diverse performance offerings and pioneering music education programs, we provide specialized instruction across six disciplines. Exceptional students gain performance experience in acclaimed ensembles and collaborate with world-class visiting artists. Our facilities include one of the country's top recording studios and two cutting-edge performance venues. The music composition bachelor's program allows students to learn from globally celebrated composers specializing in various styles and formats, with focus areas in instrumental/vocal composition and sonic arts technology.
Students should apply as a freshman undergraduate student if:
Students have completed or will complete high school or secondary school before the semester you apply to start
Students have not attended a university, college, or other postsecondary institution
Students wish to earn a bachelor’s degree
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
Dates and Deadlines - International Admissions must receive all your application materials by these dates for consideration for a specific term
Fall Term - application materials due by June 15th
Spring Term - application materials due by November 15th
Priority application date for fall enrollment: March 1; priority application date for spring enrollment: December 1.
