Since effective teaching requires real-world practice, you'll complete multiple weeks assisting an experienced educator before undertaking a full 16-week student teaching placement. The program includes essential coursework through Ball State's prestigious Teachers College, covering vital topics like classroom leadership, inclusive education, educational psychology, policy changes, and other key areas of modern pedagogy.
Students should apply as a freshman undergraduate student if:
Students have completed or will complete high school or secondary school before the semester you apply to start
Students have not attended a university, college, or other postsecondary institution
Students wish to earn a bachelor’s degree
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
Dates and Deadlines - International Admissions must receive all your application materials by these dates for consideration for a specific term
Fall Term - application materials due by June 15th
