The Legal Studies Program is ideal for students pursuing careers in the legal field, spanning government roles, public law, and corporate law sectors. Among over 1,000 paralegal programs nationwide, Ball State's stands out as one of only 300 programs accredited by the American Bar Association. Students in the Legal Studies program explore diverse legal disciplines such as family law, civil and criminal litigation, dispute resolution methods, constitutional principles, criminal justice, regulatory law, and corporate legal matters. The curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on training to build a robust professional foundation. This major serves as exceptional preparation for those planning to attend law school.
