In today's interconnected world, multilingual communication skills have become essential. Our program provides diverse ways to explore languages and cultures while building teaching competencies. Both on-campus and off-campus experiences are tailored to equip aspiring language educators with subject knowledge, instructional methods, technological tools, and classroom leadership skills. Through this program, you'll earn a Bachelor of Arts in world language education with a focus on one of five options: German, French, Japanese, Latin, or Spanish. The curriculum combines language-specific content courses with pedagogical training offered through our department and the Teachers College.
